🔹PD Dr. med. Holger Mellerowicz has an extensive background in his field. He completed his specialized training at Städtisches Klinikum am Urban, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, and the Orthopedic University Clinic of the Free University of Berlin at Oskar-Helene-Heim Berlin.
🔹In 1987, he became the Senior Physician at the Children's Hospital at Oskar-Helene-Heim, where he was involved in various aspects of pediatric orthopedics and pediatric traumatology, focusing on ultrasound diagnostics of infant hip joints and musculoskeletal systems.
🔹Since 1988, he has been a trainer in musculoskeletal and infant hip ultrasound. His primary areas of expertise in pediatric orthopedics include spinal deformities (especially scoliosis), hip disorders (with a focus on hip dysplasia), knee and foot disorders, and injuries (especially clubfoot).
🔹He also deals with pediatric and musculoskeletal issues in adults.
🔹In 2006, he assumed the role of Chief Physician at the newly established Department of Pediatric Orthopedics and Pediatric Traumatology at Helios Klinikum Emil von Behring / Stiftung Oskar-Helene-Heim. In 2019, he transitioned to his current position, leading the outpatient clinic for pediatric orthopedics and pediatric traumatology at Helios Klinikum Emil von Behring.
