Prof. Dr. med. Johannes Breuer

🔹His primary research areas include, in addition to interventional cardiology, magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy for diagnosing congenital and acquired heart defects, as well as the pathogenesis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension.

🔹He was awarded the Förderpreis of the German Heart Foundation and the Arthur-Schloßmann Prize from the Saxon-Thuringian Society for Pediatrics for his research on the treatment of pulmonary hypertension using nitric oxide inhalations.

🔹Furthermore, he is highly active in teaching and continuing education. He is primarily responsible for education at the Center for Pediatrics and received the Teaching Award from the University of Bonn for the Medical Faculty in 2012.
