🔹Pediatric oncologist Prof. Dr. Angelika Eggert has been active in the field for over 27 years. She is a member of the German Society of Pediatrics (GPOH), the German Society for Pediatric Hematology & Oncology (GPOH), the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), and the International Society for Pediatric Oncology (SIOP).
🔹She completed her medical degree at the University of Essen in 1986 and conducted her doctoral research there in 1991 under the guidance of Prof. Dr. H. Esche in the Department of Molecular Biology. Furthermore, she successfully completed her 1997 DKH + Wolfson Career Development Grant Postdoctoral Fellowship at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
🔹She has been recognized with awards including the Kind-Philipp Prize for Paediatric Oncology from the "Advances in Neuroblastoma Research" (ANR) International Symposium in Philadelphia, as well as the Evans Prize.
