🔹Prof. Dr. med. Christian Willy's illustrious career has been marked by a series of significant milestones and achievements. In 1981, he embarked on his academic journey, joining the University of Ulm and becoming an integral part of the Joint Medical Forces of the German Bundeswehr.

He continued to ascend the ranks in the field of medicine, being appointed as a Senior Consultant in Surgery in Ulm, Germany, in 1998.
🔹His global perspective expanded through a fellowship at the TraumaCenter, University of Zurich, Switzerland, from 1999 to 2000. In the year 2000, he achieved a PhD, and his thesis titled "ICP Monitoring in Chronic Compartment Syndrome: Importance of non-linearity in traumatology" served as a testament to his commitment to advancing medical knowledge.
🔹Prof. Dr. med. Christian Willy's global medical experience was further enriched by a fellowship at the Trauma Center, University of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia, in 2003. Christian Willy's dedication to his field led to his appointment as a Professor of Surgery in 2007. The following year, he assumed the pivotal role of Chairman of the Advisory Board of Surgery for the Ministry of Defense, a position he held until 2017.
🔹During the same period, he also became a member of the Common Commission of Surgical Education of the German Society of Surgery and the Union of German Surgeons. In 2009, he was named the Chairman of the Surgical Center of Surgery at the Military Hospital in Ulm, showcasing his leadership within the medical community.
