🔹Professor Dr. Frank Tacke has assumed the professorship in Internal Medicine with a focus on Hepatology and Gastroenterology at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
🔹This professorship includes the leadership of the Medical Clinic for Hepatology and Gastroenterology at the Charité Mitte and Virchow-Klinikum campuses.
🔹The expert's goal is to further enhance interdisciplinary collaboration in the treatment of liver and digestive tract diseases, with a focus on tailored therapy for each individual patient.
🔹Until March 2019, Professor Dr. Frank Tacke held the position of Senior Senior Physician at the Medical Clinic III, University Hospital Aachen.
🔹He completed his medical studies at the Medical University of Hannover, where he obtained his Dr. med. and later a Ph.D. Research visits took him to Houston at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and to New York at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
🔹In 2014, he earned a Master of Health Business Administration from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. In 2007, he achieved his Habilitation in Experimental Internal Medicine at RWTH Aachen.
🔹Since 2012, he had been a W2-Professor for Hepato-Gastroenterology at RWTH Aachen.
