🔹Prof. Dr. med. Heiko Reichel's impressive career journey includes studying Human Medicine at Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg from 1982 to 1988, followed by specialization in Orthopedics at the Orthopedic University Hospital in Halle from 1988 to 1992.

🔹In 1993, he was appointed as a Senior Physician and held this role until 2004 when he became the Chief Senior Physician at the Orthopedic University Hospital in Halle. During this time, he also conducted research visits at international orthopedic centers, including AKH Vienna, Mayo Clinic Rochester, and Massachusetts General Hospital Boston.

🔹Since 2005, Prof. Dr. Heiko Reichel has served as the Medical Director of the Orthopedic University Hospital Ulm at RKU. Furthermore, from 2006 onward, he has held the position of Chief Medical Director of the RKU University and Rehabilitation Clinics Ulm. Prof. Dr. Heiko Reichel has accumulated various qualifications and appointments over the years.

🔹Notably, he achieved his doctorate with Summa Cum Laude in 1988, received specialist recognition in Orthopedics in 1992, and obtained additional qualifications in Sports Medicine and Chirotherapy in 1993. He also received partial specialization recognition in Rheumatology in 1994, followed by recognition of Optional Further Training in Special Orthopedic Surgery in 1996.

🔹In the same year, he accomplished a habilitation in the field of Orthopedics. His academic journey continued with his appointment as an Extraordinary Professor at the University of Halle in 2003 and culminated in 2004 when he became a C4-Professor of Orthopedics at the University of Ulm. Finally, in 2006, he achieved specialist recognition in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery.
