🔹Prof. Dr. med. Helmuth Steinmetz has embarked on a distinguished academic and professional journey.
🔹He began his studies in Law and Medicine in Cologne and Gießen, spanning from 1974 to 1982. Following this, from 1982 to 1984, he served as a Medical Officer (Stabsarzt) at the Bundeswehr Hospital Gießen, specializing in the fields of Neurology and Psychiatry.
🔹During this time, in 1983, he completed a doctoral thesis titled "Die fibrinolytische Aktivität des Liquor cerebrospinalis nach spontanen Subarachnoidalblutungen" at Justus-Liebig University Gießen. Subsequently, from 1984 to 1986, he worked as an Assistant Doctor in the Neurosurgery and Neuroradiology departments at the University Hospital Tübingen.
