🔹Prof. Dr. med. Manfred Westphal, Clinical Director of Neurosurgery at the University Clinic Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), began his academic journey at Gymnasium Uhlenhorst, Barmbek, Hamburg, Germany.
🔹He completed his medical studies at the University of Hamburg, including a year at the University of Glasgow Medical School. After obtaining his medical license and presenting his doctoral thesis, he expanded his expertise with postdoctoral research at UCSF Medical Center.
🔹Dr. Westphal established the Laboratory for Brain Tumor Biology at the University of Hamburg before advancing in neurosurgery, achieving certification, and becoming an Associate Professor.
