🔹Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Hans-Ulrich Häring has been the Medical Director of the Department of Internal Medicine IV at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen since 1996. In this role, he oversees areas such as Endocrinology and Diabetology, Angiology, Nephrology, and Clinical Chemistry within the Medical Clinic and Polyclinic. Prior to his current position, he served as a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) at the III. Medical Department of the Hospital München-Schwabing and at the Institute for Diabetes Research starting from 1988.

Prof. Häring's academic foundation was laid during his medical studies in Freiburg and Munich from 1969 to 1975.
