🔹Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Dagmar Führer-Sakel has held significant roles in the field of medicine throughout her distinguished career. From 2011, she served as a W3 Professor of Internal Medicine/Endocrinology and held the positions of Director of the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, as well as Head of the Central Laboratory for Research and Education at the University Hospital Essen, University of Duisburg-Essen. Prior to this, from 2008 to 2011, she acted as the Deputy Director of the Department of Endocrinology and Nephrology and Executive Senior Physician of the Department of Internal Medicine at the University Hospital Leipzig.
