🔹Professor Dr. med. Horst Schuldes embarked on his medical journey in 1974 at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University in Greifswald, and his dedication earned him the academic degree of Diplom-Mediziner in 1979, followed by medical licensure in 1980.

🔹From 1983 to 1988, he continued to advance his expertise as a research associate and specialist trainee at the Department of Urology at Charlottenburg Hospital, where he was under the guidance of Director Prof. Dr. med. R. Nagel. His academic achievements continued, with the award of the Doctor of Medicine degree in 1984 from the Free University of Berlin.

🔹Professor Schuldes' pursuit of urological knowledge led him to the Department of Urology and Pediatric Urology at J.W. Goethe University Frankfurt/Main, where he trained from 1988 to 1999 under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. med. D. Jonas. His skills were acknowledged by the State Medical Association of Hessen in 1992 when he was appointed as a specialist in urology in Frankfurt am Main.

🔹He continued to excel in his career, becoming a senior physician at the Urological University Clinic in Frankfurt am Main in 1994. In 1996, Professor Schuldes achieved a significant milestone by earning his habilitation in the field of urology with a thesis on "The Role of the Cell Membrane in the Chemoresistance of Tumor Cells.

🔹Studies on CHO Cells, RT 112 Cells, and Human Bladder Carcinomas." This academic accomplishment led to his appointment as a private lecturer (Privatdozent) by the Department of Human Medicine at J.W. Goethe University Frankfurt/Main in 1997 and the prestigious title of "Außerplanmäßiger Professor" in 2003, awarded by the Vice President of the Department of Human Medicine at the same university.

🔹From 1999 to 2013, Professor Schuldes served as the Chief Physician of the Department of Urology and Pediatric Urology at St. Katharinen-Hospital in Frechen. His dedication to urology continued in 2014 when he established a joint urology practice and department at DRK Hospital Altenkirchen-Hachenburg alongside his partner, Dr. med. Jens Otto, in Altenkirchen/Westerwald.

🔹In 2015, he co-founded the Urological Private Practice in Frechen-Königsdorf with Dr. med. Markus Lausberg. Throughout his career, Professor Schuldes has maintained a commitment to learning and professional development, evident in his participation in various training programs, including a Laparoscopy Workshop at Uni-Klinik Halle/Saale in 2013, a Laser Protection Course at DMFA Köln in the same year, and an Anorectal Endo-Sonography Course at Endarmzentrum Mannheim in 2009.
