🔹In 1993, she earned her habilitation in the field of Radiation Therapy at the University of Leipzig after conducting research stays in London, Glasgow, and Heidelberg.
🔹She held the positions of Private Lecturer (Privatdozentin) and Senior Physician at Charité Berlin.
🔹She later became a professor at the University of Cologne.
🔹In her current role, since 2000, she has been the Director of the Department of Radiation Therapy, Radiooncology, and Nuclear Medicine.

🔹2000: Appointed as the Director of the Clinic for Radiotherapy,
